South Fulton’s accessibility to Metro Atlanta
and affordable and thousands of acres of undeveloped land was
recognized in 2005 when the county approved 25,000 new home
permits. As a result, new commercial shopping is also springing
up along Camp Creek Parkway and Old National Highway, with a
revival of Shannon Mall, recently renamed Union Station Mall.
